Updated: Nov 27, 2023

baie d'acai

Acai, what is it? This small bay is gaining popularity, but remains relatively unknown in France and Europe. Originally from the Amazon, it is distinguished by its fruity and chocolatey taste and can be enjoyed in several variations.

At Acai & You, we offer you the opportunity to enjoy it in the form of a fresh and vitamin-rich Acai Bowl, but also as a drink or as a waffle or donut filled with acai cream.

What does acai taste like?

Acai has a particular taste, both fruity and chocolatey. Our wish is to take you on a journey through our acai bowls and discover multiple textures; acai cream pairs with our creamy homemade peanut butter, as well as our crunchy granola and delicious toppings of your choice. An explosion of flavors guaranteed!

What are the benefits of acai?

Acai is 4 times richer in antioxidants than goji berry, and 5 times more than pomegranate and blueberry. Antioxidants slow down cellular aging, helping you maintain that youthful skin you love so much.

Acai is a superfood rich in minerals: potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc and iron. Athletes know that all these minerals and trace elements are essential to boost energy.

Do you know that there are good fats? Acai contains omega 3, omega 6 and omega 9. To put it simply, this unique blend improves blood circulation and reduces bad cholesterol levels.

Acai acts as a real appetite suppressant and without making you feel guilty since acai is only 70kcal per 100 grams. Its fibers provide a satiety effect for several hours.

Without forgetting vitamins C, E, B1, B2 and B3 for even more energy!

How to taste acai?

Acai comes in several forms: pulp, powder, sorbet, juice... Our acai bows offer an iced and creamy smoothie texture like in Brazil, thanks to acai pulp.

Acai is high in calories and sweet?

Acai has very little sugar and has a glycemic index close to zero. On the other hand, it has a high lipid content, which distinguishes it from other fruits. These good fats have many benefits and help maintain good cholesterol levels.

And you, have you already tasted acai and included this fruit in your diet?
